Overview
StocksToTrade is a research and execution platform for active retail traders: real-time scanners, charts, news, and watchlists in one place. The product team engaged Veradin for product design on the trading app.
The challenge
Trading tools drown users in density. Every panel wants to be on screen at once, and a trader in a fast market has seconds to find the number that matters. Cutting density would lose the audience; keeping it as-is kept losing their attention.
The approach
Hierarchy over decoration. Data was ranked by decision value, and the screens were structured so the most consequential numbers read first at a glance.
Patterns for scanning, watching, charting. Consistent interaction patterns across the three core modes, so a trader learns the product once.
A visual system that survives the density. Type, color, and spacing rules that hold up when the screen is full, on desktop and on a phone.
The outcome
Design delivered to the StocksToTrade product team. Usage and conversion data are proprietary.
